Aluminium aircon covers that let the unit breathe

A condenser needs air more than it needs hiding. We size the open area for the unit first, then make it look like it belongs on the wall.

Why it is built this way

Get this wrong and you cook the compressor. Every cover we draw leaves clearance around the unit and enough open area across the face that the fan is not fighting the panel.

This is our most common flat-pack item and usually the fastest — most orders leave in about five days. It arrives as cut panels with the fixings and a fitting guide, and one person with a drill can put it up.

  • 01

    Airflow is the specification

Open area and clearance are set for your unit, not copied off a stock drawing. A choked condenser is an expensive mistake.

  • 02

    About five days

The going rate in this market is fifteen to twenty working days. Small covers usually leave our workshop in about five.

  • 03

    Disappears into the wall

Coated to your wall colour, it reads as a detail. Coated to a contrast, it reads as a feature. Your call.

How this one gets made

Four steps, one workshop

  1. Step 01

    Measure

Send the opening. Rough is fine — a photo with a tape in it beats a perfect drawing.

  2. Step 02

    Draw

We draw your actual panel at full scale and you approve the CAD before anything is cut.

  3. Step 03

    Cut

CNC laser cut, then powder coated or sprayed, on our own machines in Prospecton.

  4. Step 04

    Fit

Flat-packed with fixings and a drill template, or fitted by our team or an approved installer.

Six condensers hidden and not one resident complaining that their aircon got worse. They worked the airflow out properly instead of guessing.

Questions people actually ask

Will a cover make my aircon less efficient?

Not if it is designed properly. We set the open area and the clearance around the unit so the fan is not restricted. A cover that fits tight to the casing with small holes will absolutely cost you efficiency — that is the version we will not build.

What size do I need?

Measure the outdoor unit’s width, height and depth, and tell us how much wall you have. We add the clearance and draw the cover around it.

Can I fit it myself?

Yes. It ships flat-packed with fixings and a drill template. Most people manage it in an hour with a drill and a level.

How much does an aircon cover cost?

It depends on size, pattern and finish, so we quote per job rather than publish a price that would be wrong for most people. Send us the unit dimensions and you will have a number back quickly.

Tell us the opening. We’ll draw the panel.

Rough dimensions are fine — we confirm every measurement on the CAD before cutting. No obligation, and no pushy follow-up.
