Why it is built this way

We supply the decorative infill: the panel that fills the bays of your balustrade frame, cut and finished to your pattern and colour.

Being precise about scope: at 2 mm our panel is a decorative infill and facing, fitted into a frame or structure that carries the load. Balustrade loading and compliance sit with your structural contractor and their engineer. Architects and inspectors read this closely, and we would rather say it up front than be vague about it.

  • 01

    Not glass, not bars

Privacy where you want it, view where you do not, and no fingerprints to clean every week.

  • 02

    Cut to your bays

Panels drawn to the frame you already have, including irregular bays on a raking staircase.

  • 03

    Coordinates with the rest

Same pattern as your screens or gates so a building reads as one scheme.

How this one gets made

Four steps, one workshop

  1. Step 01

    Measure

Send the opening. Rough is fine — a photo with a tape in it beats a perfect drawing.

  2. Step 02

    Draw

We draw your actual panel at full scale and you approve the CAD before anything is cut.

  3. Step 03

    Cut

CNC laser cut, then powder coated or sprayed, on our own machines in Prospecton.

  4. Step 04

    Fit

Flat-packed with fixings and a drill template, or fitted by our team or an approved installer.

Questions people actually ask

Is your panel structural?

No. At 2 mm it is a decorative infill and facing. It fits into a frame or structure designed and certified by your structural contractor, who carries the balustrade loading requirements. We will not claim otherwise.

Can you do a raking staircase?

Yes. Every panel is drawn individually anyway, so raking bays cost no more than square ones.

Will it meet building regulations?

The panel is one part of a balustrade assembly. Compliance with SANS requirements for height and gaps applies to the assembly and is signed off by your contractor and engineer. Tell us the constraints and we will design the panel to suit them.

Tell us the opening. We’ll draw the panel.

Rough dimensions are fine — we confirm every measurement on the CAD before cutting. No obligation, and no pushy follow-up.
