Geyser enclosures and heat pump screening
External geysers and heat pumps are the least attractive thing on most walls, and they are only getting more common. An enclosure fixes the look without trapping heat.

Why it is built this way
Heat pumps in particular need airflow to work at all, so these are screened enclosures rather than boxes. We keep service access on the panel that needs it, because someone will have to get in there eventually.
Access matters more than people expect. Tell us which side the plumber needs and we will make that panel removable rather than forcing them to unbolt the lot.
- 01
Serviceable
A removable panel on the side your plumber actually needs. Nobody has to dismantle the whole thing to change an element.
- 02
Heat gets out
Screened, not sealed. A heat pump inside a solid box is a heat pump that stops working.
- 03
Cut to your unit
Geysers and heat pumps vary wildly in size. We draw around yours.

Any pattern, cut into this product
Shown as standard in Reed. Open area is the specification — it decides how much light, air and view gets through.
How this one gets made
Four steps, one workshop
- Step 01
Measure
Send the opening. Rough is fine — a photo with a tape in it beats a perfect drawing.
- Step 02
Draw
We draw your actual panel at full scale and you approve the CAD before anything is cut.
- Step 03
Cut
CNC laser cut, then powder coated or sprayed, on our own machines in Prospecton.
- Step 04
Fit
Flat-packed with fixings and a drill template, or fitted by our team or an approved installer.

Get a price →Questions people actually ask
Will it make my heat pump less efficient?
Not if it is screened rather than boxed in. Heat pumps move a lot of air and need it to keep moving. We set the open area for your unit and keep clearances around the fan.
Can the plumber still get in?
Yes. Tell us which side needs access and we make that panel removable with hand tools.
Does it work for a solar cylinder on a roof?
Sometimes. Roof-mounted work needs a site check for fixing and wind load, so send photos and we will tell you honestly whether it is a job we should take.
Often specified together
Aircon covers
A condenser needs air more than it needs hiding. We size the open area for the unit first, then make it look like it belongs on the wall.
View →Gas cages
Gas bottles have to be outside, upright, ventilated and secure. That is a safety requirement, not a styling one — so the only question left is whether it has to look like a cage.
View →Inverter & battery screens
Load shedding put an inverter and a stack of batteries on a lot of South African walls. They are rarely in a cupboard and almost never pretty.

Rough dimensions are fine — we confirm every measurement on the CAD before cutting. No obligation, and no pushy follow-up.
