Where the design needs an air gap, they come pre-cut to length.
Being straight about the limits
Flat-pack works beautifully for aircon covers, gas cages, window screens and most residential privacy screens. It works less well for anything above head height, anything spanning between posts you have not built yet, and anything where getting it wrong means doing masonry twice.
If your job is in that second group we will tell you at quote stage and point you at installation instead. We would rather lose the difference than have a panel go up badly with our name on it.
Delivery is quoted on weight and destination. Nothing is free-shipped, because pretending shipping is free just means it is hidden in the price.
Fitting questions
What tools do I need?
A drill, the right bit for your wall, a level, a tape measure and a pencil. For anything above about 1.5 m you want a second pair of hands to hold it while you mark.
How long does fitting take?
An aircon cover is usually under an hour. A run of privacy screens is an afternoon. The drill template does most of the thinking for you.
What if I drill in the wrong place?
Call us before you improvise. Most fixing mistakes are recoverable, and we would rather talk you through it than have you force a panel that no longer lines up.
How much is delivery?
It is based on weight and destination, so we quote it with the job. You are also welcome to arrange your own courier if you have one you trust.
Can I get it fitted instead?
Yes. Our own team fits in Durban. In Johannesburg and Cape Town we hand off to approved partner installers — vetted, but not our employees, and we will always say which is which.
