How custom work actually goes
We redraw your artwork as clean vector geometry, sized to your opening. Then you get a full-scale CAD to approve — which is where you find out whether that detail you loved reads at three metres or turns to mush.
The honest constraint: at 2 mm there is a minimum web width between cuts before a panel stops being rigid. Very fine artwork usually needs thickening slightly. We show you exactly what changed and why, rather than quietly altering it.
Engraving is available where you want the mark without the hole — house numbers, signage, and detail on a panel that also needs to keep the weather out.

What file formats do you accept?
DXF and DWG are ideal because they cut directly. AI, EPS, SVG and PDF vectors are almost as good. JPG, PNG and phone photos work too — we just redraw them as vector geometry first, which takes a little longer.
Can you copy a design I saw somewhere?
We can redraw a pattern or a motif. What we will not do is reproduce someone else’s copyrighted artwork or a competitor’s proprietary design. If a reference falls into that territory we will say so and offer a close alternative that is genuinely yours.
Does a custom design cost more?
The cutting does not — the machine does not care how complicated the path is. Redrawing does, if you send a photo rather than a vector. Very fine detail can also cost more in material, because thin webs between cuts need more sheet around them.
How fine can the detail be?
Fine, but not infinite. At 2 mm there is a practical minimum web width between cuts before the panel loses rigidity. We will tell you if your artwork needs thickening and show you the adjusted version on the CAD.
Can you engrave rather than cut through?
Yes. Engraving marks the surface without piercing it, which suits signage, house numbers and detail where you do not want light or air through.
