The brief
The brief was a partition that separated without closing — something that would hold a room together visually while letting the afternoon light through onto the carpet.
We drew the geometry from a motif the committee brought us, redrawn as clean vector so the repeat is exact across all nine panels. At cutting tolerances there is nowhere for a pattern to hide, and a repeat that drifts by a millimetre is a repeat everybody notices.
Cut from 2 mm aluminium composite, powder coated in a warm bronze to sit with the existing timber. We also cut the pendant light shades from the same geometry so the ceiling reads as part of the same scheme.
